A small, senior team that would rather do fewer projects properly than many of them quickly.
Our Story
Code & Compass began as a two-person consulting practice helping growing companies untangle systems that had outgrown their original design. The pattern was always the same: a product that worked well in its first year and became expensive and fragile in its third.
We now work as a compact team of developers and architects across a handful of long-running client relationships. We deliberately stay small — it means the people who scope your work are the people who build it.
Our name reflects the two halves of the job: the compass is knowing which direction is worth travelling, and the code is the work of getting there.
